Symphony Inspira is a volunteer, community-based orchestra serving Northeast Houston. Our musicians include educators, college students, working professionals and dedicated community members who come together to perform contemporary orchestral music, including film, video game and popular repertoire.

All instruments are welcome to audition, though our primary need for the upcoming season is string players in all sections.

Auditioning musicians will be asked to perform selected excerpts from Symphony Inspira’s previous season, along with scales and/or arpeggios. Audition materials and additional instructions will be provided in advance.

High school musicians are strongly encouraged to audition. Participation in Symphony Inspira may also qualify for volunteer or service hours, depending on the requirements of the student’s school or organization. Documentation of rehearsals, performances and other approved service may be provided upon request.
